Summary:
This is a collection of short poems divided into 5 sections over a large variety of topics ranging from dogs to raw carrots to autumn geese.
Evaluation:
I think this is a good collection of poems to have because there are so many topics that can be discussed and enjoyed. I would use this with both young children and older children because of the range in topics. For younger children I could read them poems about topics we are using in class and then identifying sight words. For older students, I would have students select a few different poems and create their own blackout poetry.
