The Day the Crayons Quit

Summary: One day Duncan went to take out his box of crayons but instead found a stack of letters addressed to him. It was from all of his crayons expressing their disappointment with how overworked, tired, and unappreciated they feel so they decided to quit. Duncan decides to listen to the requests of his crayons, he create a beautiful picture that his teacher gave him an A for and an A+ for creativity.
Evaluation: I LOVED THIS BOOK! I will definitely read this aloud to my students as it was simply fun to read. I loved the illustrations and the fact that the letters were hand written in different handwritings was amazing. I would like to introduce writing letters to my students after reading this book to my students.
