Summary:
There are nine planets in our solar system divided between the inner planets and the gas giants. Each planet has unique characteristics such as having many moons or being very very hot. Scientists have been looking at different planets or even moons that we could possibly live on but so far the Earth is the only place in our Solar System that is suit for us to live on.

Evaluation:
This book is a bit out dated. It was published in 2000 so a lot of the information has been proven to be incorrect such as Jupiter having only 16 moons and Pluto being a planet. This would be important to pay attention to when having non fiction books in my classroom to make sure my students are getting false information if it is about science. Based on this, I would not use this book in my classroom.
